Happy Mother’s Day to all of you that are mothers (and are being pampered by your children), and to those of you that are pampering and taking your mothers out to dinner! 
I woke up this morning to the chirping of birds that seemed merrier today and when I came downstairs from my bedroom to make coffee for my husband, I found a few greeting cards (one was handmade) from my children waiting for me at the kitchen countertop. Ah, they must have prepared them lovingly in secret and placed them there in the kitchen after I have called it a day and gone up to my room to sleep! So, when they woke up this morning, they were rewarded with a few endearing big hugs and kisses from me, and vice versa! Am I glad to be a stay-at-home mom and when I look at my children, I know I have made the right decision in quitting my job and dedicating all my time to my family …. and best is, they know it and they do appreciate what I do for them! 
I especially love this card from my second daughter that says it all …. the “F.O.C.” on the card means “Free of Charge”!
